Claire Hutto is a licensed and certified occupational therapist who is passionate about working with young children with a variety of needs. She has a special interest in sensory integration and has completed over 70 hours of specialized training in this area, which she enjoys incorporating into her treatment approach.
Claire graduated from the University of Alabama in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Education, majoring in Exercise and Sports Science with focus areas in pre-professional studies and fitness. She also earned a minor in Food and Nutrition. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2020 at the University of South Alabama. During her clinical fieldwork, Claire gained experience in both an inpatient rehabilitation hospital and a pediatric outpatient clinic.
Since beginning her career, Claire has worked in pediatric settings, including schools and outpatient clinics. She is dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through personalized, evidence-based care.
Claire has been married to her husband, John, since 2020. They have a Siberian Husky named Nola who keeps them active and entertained. In her free time, Claire enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and going to the beach. A Dothan native, she is proud to serve the community she loves by building meaningful connections with the families she treats.
