Rachel Swope is a counselor and social worker with a background in military social work, child welfare, medical social work, individual and family counseling, forensic social work, and geriatric social work.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Troy University, she completed her Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama. In addition, she received her Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University. Currently, she is working on her Doctorate in Social Work from Tulane University and graduates soon.
She has been employed with the Alabama Department of Youth Services, the United Methodists Children’s Home, Troy University and Houston County DHR prior to joining Milestones (formerly Child and Family Services) in 2018.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, the beach, and watching her daughter's sporting events.
